Fount

In late September 2022, I joined Fount, a wellness and tech startup dedicated to optimizing health and performance for the world’s top performers. As Lead Designer and the sole creative on the team, I had the opportunity to shape the brand from the ground up, driving design for a game-changing business.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Comprehensive Rebrand & Product Launches
    I led a full-scale rebranding of Fount and launched its first public product, FlyKitt, a jet lag solution, in my first 30 days with the company. This included overseeing the design of Squarespace websites for both brands and delivering on a tight November 1st deadline.

  • Decks & Strategic Marketing
    Designed decks, sales one-pagers, and promotional materials to support company growth. This included presentations for high-profile celebrity collaborations and partnerships, as well as investor decks that played a key role in securing Fount's successful Series A funding round.

  • Packaging Design
    Designed FDA-compliant, consumer-friendly packaging for FlyKitt and the Fount Kitt System wellness line, launched in November 2023. Additionally, I designed a custom welcome box to house Fount and FlyKitt products for new members.

  • Brand Development
    Created essential brand assets, including internal communications collateral, membership materials, and comprehensive brand guidelines, ensuring a cohesive identity across all platforms.

  • Photo & Video Production
    Produced and art directed a photo and video shoot, ultimately creating a comprehensive catalog of lifestyle and product photos for Fount and FlyKitt. In tandem, I oversaw video production, which was later utilized in a brand video, a testimonial video, and two 20-second hero videos featured on the Fount and FlyKitt websites.

  • Creative Content Production
    Conceptualized and coordinated additional brand videos, ensuring alignment with Fount's evolving identity and messaging.

  • Digital Design & Web Development
    Spearheaded the WordPress website redesign for Fount and FlyKitt, collaborating with developers to enhance UI/UX and meet aggressive timelines.

  • Mobile App UI/UX
    Partnered with the CTO and engineering team to design the user interface for Fount and FlyKitt mobile apps, contributing icons, graphics, and UX improvements.

  • AI & Innovative Cost-Saving Solutions
    Leveraged AI tools (Midjourney, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Photoshop Generative AI) to create marketing visuals, saving the company over $50,000 in production costs.

A collection of health and wellness products, including a smartphone with a meal tracking app, FLYKITT dietary supplement boxes, orange-tinted sunglasses, and a black carrying case, all arranged on a light gray surface.



The new FlyKitt packaging design features a lighter color palette, for better visual recognition on nighttime flights, and enhanced color capsule callouts. While retaining familiar color names for existing customers, the callouts now include function names for easier pill identification. This update improves both the visual appeal and practical usability of the packaging.

I designed the FlyKitt App Store screens and contributed to the app's UI. Considering that many FlyKitt users will be interacting with the app during night flights, a permanent dark mode was implemented to reduce eye strain. Bright colors and simple icons were also used for easy visibility in dark environments.


I also designed the FlyKitt app icon, which represents a flight path from departure to cruising altitude with a simple grey line. The line reflects FlyKitt's functionality in aiding the body to transition from a sluggish state to being functional, ultimately helping the user avoid jet lag. Additionally, the icon features a four-quadrant circle in the bottom right corner, the Fount mark, signifying it being powered by Fount AI.
